Sufjan Stevens - They Are Night Zombies.....

Sufjan is easily my favorite modern musical artist and Illinois was my favorite album from that decade. Each song is highly detailed, full of vocal harmonies, and contain engaging lyrics. He tends to mesh classical with folk on this particular album and he mastered it to say the least.

James Ferraro - Earth Minutes

I chose this song because not only was it made completely on an iPad it also showcases how much can be done with so little. I enjoyed the build up. the attention to detail with each layer he adds, as well as the intricate sounds that tend to pop after each listen.

Hot Chip - "I Feel Better"

I love the song now but had I just heard it on it's own I probably would have thought it was decent but it definitely would not have had the same effect on me. I thought a good example of a way to get the attention of your audience.
